Recent orders

Just catching up and updating our blog, here's a compilation of recent orders we had. Even though we don't specialize in cupcakes, lately we've seen a parade of them being requested in a great variety of flavors/designs/colors.

This was for a 90th birthday for a Canadian gentleman.

Sharon's son wedding order included custom decorated cake bites, sandollar sugar cookies, red velvet and lemon cupcakes (not pictured here) and a small wedding cake to match the rest of the theme.

We are currently working on another wedding and preparing for our 3rd Xmas Fair at Sunset Beach Elementary School, coming up on November 12. Hope to see you all there!!!

Another birthday month

We both have two daughters whose birthdays are in the beginning of March and two daughters whose birthdays are in the end of September. So on top of orders and events, we are always planning what to do for them. After all, what kind of mothers would we be if there was no yummy sweets in our own kids' birthdays....?
So the celebrations kicked off with Moorea's party. This cake was chocolate and vanilla cakes filled with dulce de leche and chocolate ganache.

And the favor for this year was a cute bento box filled with owl pops, owl cookies, and cotton candy (Moorea's favorite treat)

The following weekend, it was Taumana's birthday. Her beach party featured pink cake pops with custom sugar decorations, matching cupcakes and a pink rainbow cake.

We have six months to recover until March now....

Maia and Henua's Birthdays

March is a busy month for us, we both have a daughter who has a birthday, and they also happened to be best friends :)

Henua wanted a Rapunzel theme, therefore we had lots of cupcakes with flowers, braids and crowns.

Brownie cake pops are a kid's favorite

And everyone loved taking home some favors!!!

Maia has been into caterpillars and butterflies lately, so she chose a butterfly theme.

Vanilla and chocolate cake bites

Some alfajores for the grown ups. The cage is cute and came in handy to keep those little hands away ;)

Butterfly candy pops

The cake was also for the grown ups. It was chocolate and dulce de leche, soaked in Bailey's

Jello butterflies, banana cupcakes and marshmallow pops.

It was lots of fun preparing it and celebrating it. Now we have six more months until our other daughters' celebrations.

HENUA'S "MERMAID & PIRATES" BIRTHDAY PARTY

Henua's birthday was the first week of March but she didn't get to have a party till the end of the month. So this day was super special and we made sure she had an awesome party. The theme was Mermaids and Pirates and the kids had a great time.

The chocolate cupcakes with vanilla frosting were super yummy!

Aerial view of the cupcake stand.

Hand made and hand painted party favors.

Organic popcorn cones. These were gone in a minute!

Little Jello boats. Super cute and they didn't last long either...
Another fun party with delicious food.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HENUA!!!!

Maia and Malia's Birthday

Two princesses born the same day deserved a loyalty celebration!!! When you are a 4 year old girl usually the theme is pink, pink, pink!!!!
We baked vanilla cupcakes fit for a princess (or two in this case)

Here's the setup we made for them....

Hand painted and hand drawn grab bags to match the cupcake liners, next to a cupcake tree to help hold more cupcakes.

Here's a picture of the cupcakes in one of our pretty cake stands

But the star of the table was our handmade cupcake tower with a castle cake on top!

All the hard work payed off when it was time to blow the candles.
The cake and cupcakes are really cute, but they got nothing on those two little faces!!!
